Document on investment control in post-privatization period developed

15 April 2006 [09:38] - TODAY.AZ
"After privatization of state enterprises, problems like changing their profiles and construction of many-stored buildings occur. Because that establishment transmits to property of any company, we have to carefully treat this issue. That is why a project on implementation of the investment controlling mechanism in the post-privatization period is being developed."

This explanation was given by the Chair of the State Committee for State Property Management Kerem Hesenov at a press-conference yestreday, APA reports.

According to Mr.Hesenov, new leasing contract forms have already been prepared: "Leasing contract terms and leasing fees were reconsidered and re-evaluated. The program on state property privatization will be changed and sale methods and proportions of stocks will be reviewed. Complex measures are planned to be carried out on normalization and assessment of state property."

Mr.Hesenov said that some state-owned fields were planned to be opened to privatization. Those fields are fuel-energy, road-transport, water transport, melioration and water economy, chemical industry, agricultural and oil machine-building enterprises, state building companies, healthcare, education, sports and cultural self-sustained organizations.
