Operation of Shimal Power Plant stopped for prophylactic purposes

Azerenergy OJSC again stopped operation of the Shimal Power Plant and examination works are implemented mainly on the tank and power units related with the tank.

APA informs quoting the Director of the Shimal Power Plant Vugar Shahmuradov.
According to Mr.Shahmuradov, prophylactic works has been started on Monday and will be completed in the evening on Friday.

The Japanese Mitsubishi Company was also attracted to this work. Foreign specialists are removing faults occurred in the tank during unavoidable overload.

Japanese specialists install modern equipment registering smallest temperature changes and being sensitive to metal's tension. Specialists of WEIR (Scotland), SMI (Belgium), EPRO (Turkey) are also working there at the moment.

Taking prophylactic measures into account, the old power unit was put into activated and stable 75 megawatts of electricity is generated, what is sufficient for complete power supply of consumers.
