New rates for railroad cargo transportation implemented in CIS and Baltic countries

Railroad transport council of CIS and Baltic countries at its 43rd session held today in Tallinn has approved the rates for cargo railroad transportation.
Trend reports that in particular, rate for one roofed carriage is set at $10.6 a day, platform - $9.4 a day, half-carriage – $12.3, tank - $10.7, other types of carriages - $11.4, grain carriages - $8.7, railroad carrier with number of axes up to 12 inclusively - $15.8 and carriage with 16 and 20 axes - $42.7 a day.

New rates are coming into effect from 18:01 Moscow time, June 30, 2006. This information was provided by RBC.
