In March Azerenergy produced 5% more electricity

As APA was informed by the press-service of Azerenergy OJSC quoting the Central Dispatcher Office (CDO), thermal power plants (TPP) and hydroelectric power plants (HPP) generated 2.033 billion kWh and 0.291 billion kWh of abovementioned volume, respectively.

Besides, in March exchange of electricity with the neighboring countries – Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia was also continued. As a result, 48.6 million kWh was received from Russia, 39.1 million kWh from Turkey, 61.6 million kWh from Iran and 14.7 million kWh from Georgia.
