Country's currency reserves to reach $80 billion soon

Azerbaijani government will benefit $100 million from management of strategic currency funds in 2006.

The government plans to deposit $2,4 billion reserves of the State Oil Fund and the National Bank in highly rated banks.

Meanwhile International Monetary Fund predicts currency reserves of Azerbaijan will reach $80 billion in upcoming years, ANS informs.
