IV meeting of Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative International Advisory Group to be held in Baku

The executive director of SOFAR and head of the EITI state commission Samir Sharifov will also attend the meeting. According to the information given to journalists by S.Sharifov, IV meeting of the International Advisory Group will be held in Baku on April 5. A seminar or conference is expected to be organized within the framework of the meeting, APA informs.

S.Sharifov also said that works on preparation of the fourth report on the second half of 2005 had been launched and the report will be published on April 15: "Although the state commission implements all measures, not all of oil and gas companies print their reports individually. BP has already started this work, but other consider it commercial classified information and claim that such publications violate the terms of the contract."
