Volume of consumer goods and paid services sold and rendered to population increased by 15.2% last year

As APA reports refering to SSC, this growth occurred due to putting into operation new trade and service establishment and enhancement of activity of existing enterprises.

It was informed from SSC that the number of individual entrepreneurships engaging in trade and service market without forming legal entities increased to 140 thousand in the reporting year and it resulted in enhancement of their activity in the consumer market.

Almost all (96.2%) of retail and public catering commodity turnover and real growth of paid services rendered to population was ensured at the expense of operation of the private sector. So, last year enterprises of this sector sold consumer goods and rendered various services to population in amount of 5295 million manats or 15.5% more than the previous year.
