Volume of production and services increased by 17% in Sumgait last year

Growth in production and services exceeded the figure of 2004 by AZM196 billion or 17%. APA was informed about it from the Sumgait city Executive Power.

Main part of general production and services fell to share of the industrial fields. So, general volume of production formed AZM994.7 billion in industry in the reporting year and this means growth exceeding the previous year figure by AZM71 billion. Growth amounted to 7.7% in processing industry enterprises, 1.9% in metallurgy, 2.2% in light industry and 38.8% in building materials field.
