The Ministry of Transport intends to decrease benefits currently applied in international and transit cargo traffic by 5-40%.

As APA informs citing the Deputy minister of transport Musa Panahov, decrease of benefits is aimed for reimbursement of damage caused to the state transport structures as a result of increase in retail prices of some oil products since January 6.

M.Panahov said that the Ministry of Transport had not submitted its proposals on raising the tariffs to the Tariff Council yet According to his words, the proposals of the establishments included in the structure of the Ministry of Transport are currently being analyzed and after that the final proposals will be presented to the Tariff Council.

"Most likely, prices in domestic passenger traffic will not increase", - M.Panahov said.
