Shahdeniz project is ready for 55 percent

After commissioning of the 4th production well in the deposit, a new exploratory well will be holed in the southwest part of the structure. The platform will have 1 trestle and 12 wells.

Construction works in Sangchal terminal and in Shahdeniz will be completed in September 2006. All the necessary equipment has been delivered.

According to the latest estimations, Shahdeniz has 1 trillion cubic meters of gas and 200 million tons of condensates. Early gas form the deposit is to be delivered to the world market late next year.
