Some expenses increased in the state budget for the year 2006

“The expenses envisaged in the public budget for 2006 were increased on some spheres,” said Avaz Alakbarov, the Finance Minister on the Parliament’s Friday meeting.

The expenses of the State Committee on Azerbaijanis Living Abroad were increased by 400,000 manats in the public budget for 2006 to develop Diaspora. Besides that the expenses of the Azerbaijan State Economic University were increased by 100,000 manats, the expenses for maintaining of the President’s Apparatus - by 250,000 manats.

The volume of the transfer allocated by the Finance Ministry to cover the damage to Azerpocht was raised by 20,000 manats, expenses of the Special Commission on State Service established at the Azerbaijani President - 40,000 manats, expenses on safety of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - 300,000 manats, management expenses of the Gobustan and Absheron regions – 32,000 manats, payment of electric energy of the State Melioration and Water Economy Agency - 1.5m manats.

Radio hubs and studios of the Azerbaijan TV and Radio Broadcasting Company in 15 regions were handed over the Culture Ministry; the expenses of the Company were reduced by 385,700 manats, which was transferred to the budget of the Culture Ministry.
