Pakistani National Bank opens its representative office in Baku

The office will start its operation shortly, the works are underway, the Embassy of Pakistan to Azerbaijan told Trend.

Understanding on opening of the bank's representative office in Baku was reached between the governments of Azerbaijan and Pakistan in 1999. But due to some subjective reasons the opening was delayed. During 10-15 days the bank's representative office will get the official license.

The Pakistani side hopes, that opening of the representation office in Azerbaijan will promote the development of cooperation between two countries and will give the opportunity to Azerbaijani businessmen to expand economic relations with Pakistan.

For the representative office opening ceremony a Pakistani governmental delegation will pay a visit to Baku, the Embassy reported.
