Privatization of major mobile operator Azercell due in first half-year of 2005

According to Aliyev, the initial appraisal of the JV was completed and as a result the price of the enterprise was increased 20-25% as compared to previous one.

"On 31 March the company will submit a report on incomes and losses in 2003 to define the final price of JV," Aliyev underlined.

Aliyev said that first of the opportunities for privatization of state share in Azercell will be offered to founders of the company. It can be offer other investors unless turned out uninteresting for them.
