Ukrainian enterprises strive to cooperate with Azerbaijan

Some Ukrainian enterprises are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) informed Azertac that Zorya-Mashproekt, a research and production complex that specializes in a gas turbine construction, is eager to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of oil and gas production.

The Sumy Machine-Building Plant is interested in participating in such promising projects in Azerbaijan as the Garadag underground gas storage facility, Kalmaz underground gas storage facility, supply of technological equipment for the TANAP project, supply of equipment for the “White City” project and, in general, supply of a compressor for the oil and gas complex.

The Motor Sich, one of the largest engine manufacturers for airplanes and helicopters worldwide and the only enterprise in Ukraine manufacturing engines for airplanes and helicopters, is ready to offer Azerbaijan supply of gas turbine power plants with a capacity of 2,500 to 12,000 megawatt.

Moreover, the company is ready to offer 6,000 gas turbines of gas pumping units with the power of 300 kilowatts, for gas and oil producing stations, gas turbine transmitters with a capacity of 6.3 out of 6 megawatts, design and supply of energy complexes for low-calorie fuel, modernization of existing equipment, training of the specialists of repair and maintenance organizations, as well as the supply of spare parts and units for equipment.

Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan were established on February 6, 1992.

Main goods imported from Ukraine to Azerbaijan remains as mainly metallurgy products, machine building products, agro-industrial products, and chemical industry products. While main goods exported from Azerbaijan to Ukraine are generally products of fuel energy industry, chemical industry products, and agro-industrial products.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine amounted to $334.18 million in 2016, $44.4 million of which accounted for the export from Ukraine, according to Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
