Azerbaijan sees fourfold rise of internet market in last 5 years

Azerbaijan’s internet market quadrupled, IT production sphere – tripled over past 5 years, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies informs.

According to the ministry, compared to 2008, share of mobile sector dropped to 59.5% from 67.5% , while share of internet rose to 6.6% from 1.4%, production share of the information technologies increased to 2.7% from 1.4%.
