SOCAR, Delta Rubis put pen to paper

Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, and Delta Rubis have signed a contract on the storage and distribution of fuel in Ankara.

According to SOCAR Turkey, the term of the contract is 5 years.
“This region is the exit point of the Azerbaijani crude oil to the world market and it is important to make Jeyhan a sea center for fuel sales,” said Mutluay Dogan, an official at SOCAR Turkey.

“The first step has been taken to ensure the sale of fuel to crude oil tankers which come to the port. It is planned to sale 2 million tons of fuel to ships and tankers within the next 5 years,” he added.
