Azerbaijan and Japan have agreed to organize a first joint forum on information and communication technologies next month.
The issue was discussed at a meeting of Azeri Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov with Japanese Ambassador Shusuke Watanabe.
Abbasov said both countries were interested in deepening the bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Watanabe noted Japan attached great importance to the forum, and suggested including the discussions on the satellite issues in its agenda.
He said representatives of state and non-governmental sector as well as more than 40 private companies from Japan would attend the forum. Both the minister and the ambassador said the forum would contribute to boosting the two countries` relations.
