There are great opportunities for mutual investments between Slovenia and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev said in his speech at the Azerbaijani-Slovenian business forum in Baku.
"Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with European countries, including with Slovenia. Currently the political relationship between the two countries is at a high level and based on the principles of friendship and mutual interests," Mustafayev said.
He said 10 documents have been signed between the two countries as of today.
"Work on the expansion and diversification of mutual trade is continuing. Political and macroeconomic stability in Azerbaijan, stable economic growth and a favourable business environment creates opportunities to expand business ties between the two countries," Mustafayev said.
Speaking at the forum, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa said the two countries have great economic potential.
"Effective use of existing facilities and expansion of ties between entrepreneurs of two countries will play an important role in development of trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Slovenia," Jansa said.
The business forum was organised by AZPROMO with support from the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry. Along with Azerbaijani and Slovenian officials, over 200 entrepreneurs working in the fields of ICT, industry, energy, tourism, health, education, sports, food industry, pharmaceutics, culture and consulting services attended./Trend/
