Ethylene-Polyethylene plant resumes production

The production has been launched at the "Ethylene-Polyethylene" plant of SOCAR's Azerkimya Production Association after overhaul, SOCAR said on Tuesday.

According to the information, the production of large quantities of ethylene and polyethylene and other chemical products has been launched.

According to the Azerbaijani president's decree on improving the mechanism of governance in the petrochemical industry as of April 2010, the state concern Azerkimya was transferred to SOCAR.

Currently Azerkimya operates within SOCAR as a production association.

The structure of the software is as follows: Ethylene-polythene surfactants, Organic Synthesis, mechanical repair, Institute Kimyaelmitedgigatlayihe, repair and construction management and management of transport and special equipment and storage facilities.
