Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is 'Construction of Century'

Azeryolservis OJSC completed construction of Marabda-Kartsakhi part of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia reported.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili says that, company has constructed 3 stations along with the highway, as well traffic route of the trains: “Cargos and passengers will be transported via this railway, recently. This is the shortest road between Europe and Asia. We were ordered on cargo transportations. BTK is already reality”.

In turn, head of Azeryolservis Javid Gurbanov called the BTK “The Construction of the Century” and stressed that, this railway had importance for regional countries.
