Baku opens Int'l Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference

Caspian Oil & Gas 2012, the 19th Azerbaijan International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, will start on June 5, 2012 at the Baku Expo Center. Each year, the event attracts influential oil and gas professionals, major companies and support from government bodies and ministries.

Industry and Energy Ministry and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) provide support to Caspian Oil and Gas project. The exhibition organizers are British ITE Group PLC Company and its partner company Iteca Caspian.

Caspian Oil & Gas 2012 will involve participation of 304 companies from 35 countries of the world. Great Britain, Germany, China, Russia and Turkey have reserved pavilions for national groups. The number of companies from CIS, Europe and East Asia has considerably risen. Companies from Vietnam are debutants at this year’s exhibition. Over 40% of exhibition area is occupied by world famous companies most of which are permanent participants of Caspian Oil & Gas. Foreign participants occupy 59% of display area. The other area is allocated for local producers and local offices of foreign companies. 10% of exposition is occupied by new companies never entering Azerbaijani market before. On the whole rise of all exhibition display makes 15%.

The event is organized by ITE Group plc and Iteca Caspian, with assistance from ITE's international partners - ITE Moscow, EUF (Turkey), GiMA (Germany), ITE China, and ITE Gulf (Dubai).
