As a result of last week's exchange, the rate of the Azerbaijani manat to the U.S. dollar, established based on results from the Baku Inter-bank Currency Exchange (BICEX), strengthened at 0.0002 points (0.02 percent). Last week, the average rate was set at 0.7849 manat to 1 U.S. dollar.
Deals concluded last week at BEST with transition to currency (T+0) comprised: May 29 no deals were concluded, therefore exchange rate remained at 0.7850 AZN/USD, May 30 - $3.91 million with exchange rate of 0.7850 AZN/USD, May 31 -$1.12 million with exchange rate of 0.7848 AZN/USD and June 1 -$0.925 million with exchange rate of 0.7848 AZN/USD.
