Azerbaijan, Argentina to eye trade relations

A large trade mission of Argentina lead by head of Domestic Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno will arrive in Azerbaijan in early July, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzadeh said at the official reception organized by the Embassy on the occasion of May 28 - Republic Day.

The diplomat speak about the prospects of relations and noted that the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Argentina contributes not only to closer relations of the two countries and two nations but also contribute to the rapprochement between South America and the Southern Caucasus, the center of which is Azerbaijan, the Caspian basin and the Central Asia.

The event was attended by representatives of management and legislative bodies of Argentina, as well as Minister of Tourism, Enrique Meyer, Secretary of Foreign Trade Beatriz Paglieri, Agriculture Secretary Lorenzo Basso, the chairmen of the standing committees of both houses of national congress Daniel Filmus and Guillermo Carmona, other parliamentarians, Foreign dignitaries, representatives of diplomatic corps, leaders of Buenos Aires, famous politicians, journalists, scientists and artists, according to Thursday's press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
