Financial Monitoring Service amends monitoring rules

The Financial Monitoring Service has updated the rules for the data of monitoring participants.

The new version of the rules passed the state registration at the Ministry of Justice and entered into force on May 3, 2012, the service said today.

Major changes in the rules relate to the claims arising from the digitalization of data transmited to the service, their acquisition and processing.

Previously, the service began using the analytical system for receiving, processing and analysing the "goAML" data, which is the product of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.

The regulatory framework has been improved in the sphere of legalizing criminally obtained funds, other property and combating financing the terrorism.
