Azerbaijan's 2012-state budget to be executed at appropriate level

The excess of the actual results of the execution of state budget over projected in 2011 in the first four months of 2012 makes it necessary to adjust the targets of the state budget in 2012, deputy head of the Accounting Chamber Adil Meherremov said on Tuesday during a speech in parliament, presenting the conclusion of the Chamber on two bills - "On execution of the state budget for 2011" and "On amendments and supplements to the state budget for 2012."

"In its conclusion, the Chamber assessed the establishment of an average oil price of $80 per barrel, as a cautious approach. Increase of this price to $100, over-fulfillment of predictions on customs and tax revenues in January-April, form the basis for that by year-end revenue part of the budget will be executed at the appropriate level," Meherremov said.

The Chamber also finds it satisfactory to direct of additional funding to address issues of socio-economic importance, including the elimination of consequences of natural disasters in the country, as well as to other important areas.

"The Chamber considers it appropriate to approve of the presented bills on the execution of 2011 budget and the amendments to the budget 2012," Meherremov said.
