New energy complex to be built in Azerbaijan

A major complex will be built to generate electricity from biogas in Azerbaijan, head of staff of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy and Industry Rasim Mammadov told media today.

"The foundation of the complex will be laid in November and the construction will last two years," he said.

He stressed that a large cattle-breeding complex will be built near the plant which will provide it with raw materials.
