McDermott Caspian Contractor announces vacancies

McDermott Caspian Contractors, Inc. (McDermott) is a subsidiary of McDermott International, Inc., a leading engineering, procurement, construction and Installation Company focused on executing complex offshore oil and gas projects worldwide. To perform projects in the Caspian region, McDermott is seeking to recruit fresh graduates of 2010-2011 to fill positions in the following disciplines:

•    Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Control System and instrumentation)
•    Quality Control/Quality Assurance      
•    Health, Safety & Environment
•    Project Planning    
•    Accounting/Finance

Qualifications:
•    University degree in relevant discipline from reputable universities.
•    Proficiency in computer applications.
•    Good knowledge of English will be an advantage

Selection criteria:

Successful candidates will be required to submit original certificates of degree from reputable universities.

Candidates shortlisted for the next stages of the recruitment will be expected to take a written examination and face a personal interview. 

Selected applicants will receive on-the-job and classroom training. During the training program, the new employees’ performance will be reviewed periodically and their salaries will be revised based on their individual professional achievements. Part of the training – a period of time from 6 to 12 months – will be conducted at McDermott’s facilities in Dubai.
