Azerbaijan announces sports complex sale

The Azerbaijani State Property Committee has announced an investment contest to sell a sports complex Metallurq, a statement published in the printed edition of the State Committee - "Mulkiyyet" said on Saturday.

Azerbaijani physical and legal entities and foreign investors may attend the contest. Applicants must submit an investment program with proposals to restore the activity of the complex, to create jobs and to ensure social welfare of workers.

Those wishing to participate in the tender must submit a bank guarantee at 5 percent of the value of the investment proposals and initiatives to transfer 100,000 manat to the state budget.

The complex is located on 6 T. Arani st., Ganja. The starting price of the complex is 265,600 manat. Applicants may learn more about the conditions at 20 Y. Safarov St. in Baku, at 10:00 am-5:30 pm until Feb. 29. Documents and proposals must be submitted at 10:00 am-5:30 pm until Feb. 29.

The proposals will be considered by the contest committee in the building of the State Committee on March 2.
