Azerbaijan, Serbia discuss agrarian cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov has met with the Serbian delegation led by Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management Dusan Petrovic. Abasov said cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia in the field of agrarian-industrial complex had developed in recent years.

The Azeri Minister invited Dusan Petrovic to attend the 28th session of the UN`s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Regional Conference for Europe and the 37th session of the European commission on Agriculture to be held in Baku in April, 2012.

Ismat Abasov put forward proposals to develop bilateral cooperation in the agrarian-industrial complex between the two countries even more. The Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management said he would spare no efforts to contribute to boosting friendly relations and agrarian cooperation between the two countries. Serbian ambassador to the country Zoran Vayovic was present at the event.
