Chinese ambassador Zhang Yannian has visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages, where he met rector, MP Samad Seyidov. Seyidov praised the ambassador`s contribution to development of relations between Azerbaijan and China. According to him, AUL has effective cooperation with China-based universities.
The rector noted a new Chinese Studies profession was planned to be opened at the University, adding experts and teachers would be invited from China for this purpose. Seyidov also said a Chinese center would be opened in the University, as well.
Ambassador Yannian, in turn, expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-China relationship would further strengthen. The diplomat also underlined the importance of cooperation between AUL and Chinese universities.
