Today Azerbaijani former consul general in Tebriz Ayhan Suleymanov met with East Azerbaijan province head Ahmad Alirza Beygi. Suleymanov was appointed Azerbaijani consul general in Kars (Turkey). At the meeting, Beygi stressed the need to develop cultural and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.
"We are working on opening the flight Baku - Tabriz - Mashhad for the convenience of pilgrims from Azerbaijan", he said.
