The students announced at the press conference that they intend to continue the hunger strike until their demands are met. Vugar Suleymanov, the member of Students' Rights Defender Committee said that reason for their protest is that the students entered in 2004 are not transferred to other universities.

"It was proved that the students are right. The judge said that the Education Ministry should transfer the students to other universities. The representative of the Ministry said first the court should sentence and then the Ministry will execute it. None of the sides can decide," Vugar Suleymanov said.

The student Khalid Garayev said that some will try to politicalize the problem, because they hold the strike in the opposition headquarters, APA reports.

"Our demand is not political, but social. We had appealed to YAP before, but they refused," he said.
