Azerbaijan's first vice prime minister says Romania is Azerbaijan’s reliable partner in Eastern Europe.
Novosti Azerbaijan quoted Yagub Eyubov as saying at the fourth meeting of the Joint Azerbaijan-Romania Inter-Governmental Commission.
“Despite developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania there is still potential for expanding and deepening relations,” Azerbaijani co-chairman of the commission Eyubov said.
In turn, Romanian co-chairman and Minister of Economy Adria Vidyana said the two countries have favorable conditions for development of trade and economic relations. “Every day the interest in the Romanian businessmen to Azerbaijan is increasing and we can successfully cooperate in the sphere of transport, energy, industry, imports of agricultural products, culture and tourism. Mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas is important for both sides,” Romanian minister said.
