"The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has not yet received any official information from the Foreign Ministry of Iran or the embassy of Iran in Azerbaijan", said spokesman for Azerbaijani FM Elkhan Polukhov, commenting on the news spread in world mass media about calling back the Iranian ambassador in Azerbaijan for consultations related to the official visit of Israeli president Shimon Peres on June 28-29.
"Naturally, this information should have been first recorded and disseminated by officials of Iran and after that the Azerbaijani side will be able to comment or form its position", noted Polukhov.
"No information has been received from either the Foreign Ministry or the embassy of Iran", noted he.
