20 June 2009 [12:29] - Today.Az

"Information that Homeini said Mir Hussein Musavi should leave the country after elections is untrue. If it were like that, we would have known this. Tehran leadership would never say that about its citizen, especially if it relates to Musavi", said former ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan, plenipotentiary representative of the presidential candidate Mir Hussein Musavi Afshar.

He said currently Musavi is in Tehran.

"Laws are not observed in Iran and some illegal activities are carried out in some of the regions. The main reason of Musavi's nomination was that Musavi wants everything to be in order in Iran", noted Suleymani.

The Iranian former ambassador to Azerbaijan noted that no one is going to arrest Musavi.

"It is wrong to give such predictions. Why should he be arrested? He is a famous person and he is popular in Iran. What has he done, contradicting the law, to arrest him", said formed ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan.
