President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Dalia Grybauskaite on her election as President of Lithuania, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The message reads: "We attach particular importance to Azerbaijan-Lithuania relations. I am convinced that our relationship upgraded to the level of strategic partnership, cooperation on a bilateral basis and within international organizations and projects will be developed and expanded in line with interest of our peoples".
