Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan thanked Russia for country's unchanged position regarding resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under international law during a meeting with Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev, RIA Novosti reported.
"I am thankful to Russia and personally You for valuable contribution to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and I want to mention that your position remained unchanged and firm after Azerbaijani President's visit. You still support resolution of the conflict based on international law," Sargsyan said.
Earlier last week Medvedev met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Moscow and discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. At a press conference following the talks Aliyev thanked Russia for efforts to align sides' positions to resolve the problem.
