No one has been arrested in connection with the murder of Commander of Azerbaijani Military Air Forces and Air Defense Troops, Lieutenant-General Rail Rzayev, spokesman for Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu told APA.
“I can not speak about the murder of Rail Rzayev on behalf of the investigative body, as this is not in my competence. The law also prohibits it. But as far as I know, no one has been arrested yet,” he said.
Asked whether there were any suspects the ministry spokesman said:
“Everything will be possibly known after the investigation is over. There is such an approach in the work of investigators – attention is paid even to the smallest detail. Specialists have been involved in the work. Therefore, we are sure that the criminals will be punished, held accountable. Nobody should doubt it,” he said.
