The Yeni Azerbaijan party has appointed observers for participation in the referendum due to introduction of amendments to the Constitution, said deputy executive secretary of the party Mubariz Gurbanly.
He said due to participation in the referendum, the party settled almost all legal issues and currently it is preparing for February 18, when the agitation campaign will be launched.
"Under the legislation, the observers must be registered in the district and later the regional commissions. We have appointed our observers on all districts and presented their list to the Central Electoral Commission", announced he.
Notably, the referendum on amendments to the Constitution are planned to be held on March 18.
