Azerbaijani ambassador to the United States Yashar Aliuev congratulated Hillari Clinton on being appointed US Secretary of State in a brief talk, said the press service for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
As is reported, Aliyev talked to Clinton during a special event on inauguration of new US president Barack Obama.
Aliyev voiced confidence that under the new administration the cooperation between US and Azerbaijan will continue development.
