President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has ratified a law "On ratification of declaration of friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia".
According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, the document was signed on October 2 of 2008 and comes in effect from the publishing date on November 14 of 2008.
