The day of voting - October 15 has been declared a nonworking day in Azerbaijan, reports Day.Az with reference to the independent press center.
By demands of paragraph 2 of article 8 of the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan, the voting day is nonworking on a territory, where elections are held.
As the upcoming presidential elections of October 15 of 2008 cover the whole country, this day is considered nonworking.
