Armenia must be prepared for the transfer of the Garabagh conflict under UN control, though such situation is highly unlikely, Armenian political scientist and expert Levon Melik-Shakhnazaryan told reporters.

"We must be prepared for operation in frames of the United Nations, expansion of the audience and possible cooperation with other countries", he noted.

Melik-Shakhnazaryan said GUAM and its allies undertake significant steps for the transfer of the Garabagh issue from the OSCE Minsk Group to another organization.

"Yet, representatives of most UN member-states, such as Malaysia or Djibouti, have no idea of the location of Armenia, Nagorno Garabagh or Azerbaijan", he noted.

In this connection, the expert said three sides, seriously dealing with the settlement of the Garabagh conflict, including Russia, European Union and the United States, will do everything possible to keep the Garabagh conflict under control of the OSCE Minsk Group.

"These sides will try not to give up control over the negotiation process", Melik-Shakhnazaryan explained.
