Negotiations are being conducted with the leading companies of the world for the purpose of implementation of modernization works in petrol producing machines at Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev in relation to application of Euro-3 standards in Azerbaijan.
SOCAR said that at present, the petrol used in SOCAR’s refinery complex corresponds demands of Euro-2 standards.
84% of finished goods is sold in domestic market, 16% is exported. After the construction of new Oil-Gas Refinery and Oil-Chemistry Complex, petrol corresponding Euro-5 standards will be produced in Azerbaijan.
