The former state company Azerkimya has joined the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) as a production unit.
According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree signed April 22, the Azerkimya PU was incorporated into the SOCAR structure.
According to an order signed by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, the Kimyaelmitedgigatlahiya Institute and several other plants were subordinated to Azerkimya as facilities without the rights of legal entities.
According to the order, the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant was established based on the Synthetic Rubber Plant's material and technical base.
