Azerbaijan saw 401.3 million manats or nearly $501 million invested in its fixed capital this January, which means a 5.6-percent increase from a year early, the State Statistical Committee announced.
According to the official figures, foreign investment in the fixed capital made 54.5%, while domestic investment made 45.5%.
Over 85.2% of the total amount of domestic investment had been made by government-run bodies, the committee said.
