According to a deal signed between the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and National Iranian Gas Export Company, Azerbaijan is going to export 1.2 million cubic meters of gas per day to Iran.
100-million-manat investment program will be implemented to restore Azerbaijan`s infrastructure and increase gas sales to Iran.
To this end, a compressor station in Astara will be enlarged with the Hacigabul-Astara pipeline to be completed, President of the SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists.
