The plan of joint action to overcome consequences of the global financial and economic crisis is planned to be approved at the council of CIS participant countries' heads in Yalta on November 20, chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev said at II International Banking Conference of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) "Enhancing the stability of the financial and banking systems of the Commonwealth" in Baku on Oct. 14.  

He said that preparation of the plan was result of three meetings of CIS finance ministers held in 2009. The Executive Committee also participated in preparation.

"We think that the plan will be effective instrument to overcome consequences of crisis," Lebedev said.

The plan envisages specific proposals and signing of agreements regulating financial and banking relations and use of several countries' experience in other CIS countries.

"Each country has good examples how to act during crisis. One of them is Azerbaijan which was slightly affected by crisis," Lebedev said.

The plan envisages the agreement on legal regime of mutual admission to CIS countries' banking systems, regulation of currency control, common principles among the Central Banks and measures in monetary policy.

The working group of CIS experts is planned to be established to create mutual calculations in national currency in CIS.
