Through two months since the beginning of this year prices on industrial production in Azerbaijan dropped 2.2%, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports with reference to sources in the State Statistical Committee.
"In February of this year prices on industrial goods dropped 1.2% as compared to the previous month. In turn, in January of 2009 these prices dropped 1% as compared to December of 2008. On the whole, since the beginning of the year prices on industrial goods dropped 2.2%", says the report.
On the whole, through two months of 2009 prices on industrial goods grew 11.9% as compared to the same period of the last year. At the same time prices on agricultural production through two months grew 11% as compared to the same period of the last year. In February prices on agricultural production dropped 0.7% as compared to the previous month.
