At today's plenary session of Milli Medjlis deputies in the third reading adopted a draft law "On combat against legalization of illegal money or other property and financing terrorism".
According to Day.Az, the draft law envisions creation of the financial monitoring body.
Chairman of the parliamentary commission on legal policy and statement construction Ali Huseynov told the deputies that the new structure will become a body of executive powers, executing due powers on prevention of legalization of illegal money or legalization of other property and terrorism financing.
The body of financial monitoring will control execution of the adopted law, conduction of monitoring over monetary transactions and import and export of currency from Azerbaijan.
